Submitted Manuscripts

The manuscripts which are submitted by the authors are seen in this screen of the application. In Submitted Manuscripts screen the details of the submitted Manuscript are seen.

Note: Manuscripts which have taken the decision are not displayed.

Manuscript Id: The manuscript ID will be displayed in the column as like below

    Manuscript Title: This column in the grid will have the Title of the manuscript with hyperlink.

a.        Display the Full length of the Manuscript Title in the grid with hyperlink.

When user click on Manuscript Title hyperlink, then display a PDF version of the Manuscript submission Page is displayed with all the data in the fields which is entered by the user, and with the documents data. Display of documents data is based on the Order selected for the Manuscript Documents and for which include in MS check box is checked (those files data will be displayed in the Manuscript PDF file).

Date Created: This column in the grid will show the date when the Manuscript was created. This is the Date, when the Manuscript is saved as Draft or when the Manuscript is submitted in the first attempt.

Date Submitted: This column in the grid will show the date when the Manuscript was submitted. This is the Date, when the Manuscript is submitted in to the system.

Status: The status of the manuscript is displayed in this column. (Submitted, Awaiting EIC Assignment etc...). By default the status in this column would be ‘Submitted’.

NOTE:

Manuscripts which are submitted through Invited Manuscripts workflow, are not displayed in Submitted Manuscripts section. These records will be displayed in Invited Manuscripts section.

Once the Manuscript is submitted, Irrespective of the workflow Status those records should be populated on Submitted Manuscripts screen always with the updated Status.
